Advanced Pistol & Instructor Development Course
8-Hour Professional Training Program
Course Overview
Great firearms instruction begins with a thorough understanding of shooting fundamentals and the ability to teach those principles effectively.
The OCON Defense Advanced Pistol & Instructor Development Course is an intensive, 8-hour program that brings together advanced pistol training and professional instructor education. Designed for both new and experienced firearms instructors, the course focuses on improving individual shooting performance while developing the knowledge, communication skills, and teaching methods necessary to train others.
Participants will revisit essential pistol fundamentals at an advanced level, with an emphasis on precision, efficiency, consistency, and accountability. Through focused training, students will refine their understanding of grip, recoil management, trigger control, visual discipline, and the relationship between speed and accuracy.
