Join us for a women’s-only Try Before You Buy: Introduction to Pistols course, led by Tawny, one of our female instructors. This introductory experience is designed to help women build confidence, develop a foundational understanding of pistols, and explore their options in a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment.
Whether you’re completely new to firearms, considering purchasing your first pistol, or simply looking to become more familiar with different options, this class gives you the opportunity to learn, ask questions, and discover what feels right for you—before making a purchase.
During this introductory course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of pistol safety, become familiar with basic pistol operation and terminology, and gain insight into different styles and features of handguns. With guidance from Tawny, you’ll have the opportunity to explore your questions and gain a better understanding of what to consider when choosing a pistol that fits your needs, comfort level, and goals.
