Our Kids Firearms Safety Course is designed to give young students the knowledge and confidence to respond safely if they ever encounter a firearm. This program focuses on awareness, avoidance, and responsible decision making in a structured, age appropriate environment.
Each session is conducted one-on-one with the child, with a parent or guardian present at all times. This ensures a safe, supportive learning environment while also equipping parents with the knowledge to reinforce these lessons at home.
The course concludes with a carefully supervised, introductory live-fire experience, allowing students to apply safety principles in a controlled setting under direct instructor guidance.
What Students Will Learn
How to identify a firearm
What to do if they encounter one
The importance of not touching and creating distance
How to communicate with a trusted adult
Fundamental safety rules and responsible handling
Introduction to safe shooting fundamentals (end-of-course live fire)
Course Details
Format: Private 1-on-1 instruction (child + parent/guardian present)
Live Fire: Included at the end of the course under strict supervision, size of caliber will start .22lr and go up in caliber depending on the child’s capabilities
Age Group: 9 - 16 years old
Duration: 2-3 hours
Environment: Safe, controlled, and instructor-led
